Naming Conventions and General Information:
1. The following is an example filename of the data:
buoy[yymmdd]_15days.zip
where
buoy is the name of the product from IABP (International Arctic Buoy Program).
[yymmdd] is 2 digits year, 2 digits month and 2 digits day.
2. The following is how to unpack the data:
To unzip on windows, use winzip
To unzip on Linux, type: gunzip buoy[yymmdd]_15days.zip
There will be 3 files present: *.shp, *.shx, and *.dbf.
